Want to really protect women?

To be fair, HB2, the Tar Heel “bathroom bill,” is not without its admirers. Down in Austin, a number of Texas legislators are trying to pass their own version, requiring people to use the public restrooms that correspond with the sex on their birth certificates rather than the gender they live their lives as.
As in North Carolina, the argument is that women and girls need to be defended from sexual predators lurking near their toilet seats. The debate in Texas, however, is yielding some points that the Honorables in Raleigh should ponder.
Jennifer Staubach Gates, chair of Dallas' Domestic Violence Task Force, made the point that public bathrooms aren’t where women and girls are being attacked. They’re far, far more likely to be assaulted in their homes and by spouses, boyfriends or family members.
Gates, a self-described conservative (daughter of Cowboys legend Roger Staubach), wrote in an oped piece in the Dallas Morning News that the “bathroom bill” debate is essentially a distraction. The number of bathroom attacks lies somewhere between durn few and none.
(That was the same point that another conservative, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, made last year when she came out against her state’s version of HB2.)
By contrast, Texas lawmen are dealing with tens of thousands of domestic violence cases -- so many, Gates wrote, that shelters can't be found for all the victims.
(In New Hanover County, by the way, the private, non-profit Domestic Violence Shelter and Services can always use a contribution.)

The issue is NOT the gender they live their lives AS. The issue IS the gender they IDENTIFY as. You see, the way too many libs/socialists/labeled people word local/state ordinances is by using the words 'IDENTIFY AS'. And they purposely word the new rule with NO enforcement built in. So, when an obvious GUY walks into the ladies shower room at the local gym, the gym and law enforcement can't stop it. Women are FORCED to be in the shower/shower room with an obvious MAN!
If a woman goes through the adadiktome operation, and dresses like a man, when she walks into the men's room, nobody has EVER cared or tried to stop her/him or threatened violence. Why? Because for all intents and purposes IT'S A MAN! And until Charlotte decided to overstep their authority, after being warned they were overstepping, there WAS NOT a problem with who used which facility!
So, once again, libs/socialists/label people are using straw man arguments to support their foolishness. This group is trying to foist their confused and dangerous schemes upon the rest of society. To solve a problem that DOES NOT exist.
I don't care what you do in the bedroom, or who you do it with, or even if you do it alone. So why do you insist that this is what defines you? Why do you insist upon throwing your sexual proclivities, regardless of how messed up they may be, in my face? Why is it that when you choose to live life with a label, that becomes the major thing that defines you? In most cases, according to those who wear the label, it is the ONLY thing that defines you. Why? What else does your life say about you that you choose to ignore, and want to force me to ignore as well? Are you a decent, hard-working human being? Do you volunteer where it's important, to make a difference in society? Or do you only volunteer for organizations that support label people and label efforts? Do you only support abortion, or do you also support those who choose to deliver babies? Do you only target Christians because they have beliefs different from yours and you can't stand allowing someone else to have a different thought? In all cases, this is what defines the current Democrat party. Just like label people, demons refuse to accept any thought that is different from their own. The current demon party takes people to court to force THEIR schemes on those who don't agree. Which is what defines fascism. One of the derogatory terms that libs/socialists/labeled people constantly throw at those who disagree with them (and Republicans)!
So, who is it going through life with a closed mind? I suggest it's the libs, socialists, and those who define themselves with letter labels (labels, by the way, that change on a regular basis, and no one else can keep up with!).
