Trump truths

The Founding Fathers, in their wisdom, gave us the Electoral College. Now the Electoral College has given us President Trump.
We know he lost the popular vote by almost 3 million votes, and we know most Americans believe he isn’t fit for the Oval Office. But in the six weeks since the election we’ve learned three more truths about Trump.
The first truth: He’s truth-resistant.
Election officials from all 50 states, Republicans and Democrats, confirm there wasn’t any voter fraud of any consequence. Yet Trump says millions of votes were fraudulent.
The CIA and FBI say Russia hacked Democratic emails to influence the election. Yet Trump says it didn’t happen.
The second truth is that, like all narcissists, he can’t help but lash out viciously at anyone who utters the slightest criticism of him. Or jokes about him.
The third – and related – truth comes from Senator Al Franken, who noted this striking characteristic: “Donald Trump never laughs.”
Think of great Presidents: Lincoln, TR, FDR, JFK, Reagan, Obama. They all laughed. Especially at themselves. Even mediocre Presidents laughed: Ford and both Bushes.
The only modern President who never laughed was Nixon. Case closed.
So three truths about Trump: Truth-resistant, thin-skinned and humorless.
What could possibly go wrong?

Your column could have been written by me -- about our current President particularly the Truth Resistant and Thin Skinned part. The only time I noticed President Obama smiling is when he thought he had put one over on the Republicans.
President elect Trump has no time to laugh as the country is in too big a mess. He is only truth resistant to the "truths of the past 8 years" and his thin skin is to assure that Democrats and left leaning column writers do not get away scot free from trashing him.

He's truth resistant? Must be looking at a picture of the current unqualified racist socialist occupier. 'You can keep your doctor...'. 'You can keep your insurance...'. 'I only learned about this from the media...'. The list could go on & on & on.
He lashes out? How about when Obummer called out Fox News. And only Fox News. How about when EVERY lib and media ally called out ANY Republican/conservative when we questioned ANYTHING about bonehead-now-in-office? We were called all kinds of names for questioning his socialist plans. Remember how often we were called racist because of HIS schemes. How about how we were vilified when we called him out for his laughter at the not-quite-shovel-ready job scheme? And YOU have the audacity to whine about Trump? I know, whining is your default, you can't help it, being a lib and all.
Al Franken is quoted as a source? Must be desperate! You really are scraping the bottom of the barrel if you have to whine about a lack of laughter. And to find a socialist to quote about this issue just shows your desperation. You have proven that libs will find ANYTHING just to have something to whine about. No criticism of Obummer was allowed because he is mostly black, and we were all called racists regardless of what we actually said about him or his policies. But you libs are literally cracking up. The more I read or hear from libs, the more I believe what's been posted on other blogs: liberalism really is a mental disorder. You have to be blind to be a lib. You have to ignore more than half the world, more than half the events that take place, more than half of what's said in order to continue to be a close-minded, racist, elitist lib. And everytime I read or listen to one, they confirm the worst in humanity.
