Interesting discussion on the allocation of State sales tax amongst the Counties. I really enjoyed Chris arguing against income equality and progressive taxation and for tax breaks for the rich and letting the poor suffer...
The big problem with sales taxes is government requiring private business to be their tax collector... for free. How about we just asking State residents to total their purchases each month and send the appropriate amount to the State. We can also end income tax withholding by business for their employees and have everyone pay estimated taxes as I have for almost three decades.
