It is insulting to hear Democrats on the Spin say Republicans were against funding smaller class size. I do not know a single Republican in my county who was against that funding. There are several teachers among us and we all believe that early childhood education is the key to long term success, esp. for minorities. If there is any part of NC education deserving a cut in funds it is the university system.
