According to the Business Insider,
Median personal income for all NC employees: $31,900
Median income for NC millennials: $20,000
According to the NC Department of Public Instruction and the Wake County Schools,
Minimum starting salary for a NC public school teacher on a ten-month contract: $35,000
Starting salary for a Wake County public school teacher on a ten-month contract: $41,038
