After SPIN! - "Question to Brad Crone – There is a proposed bill in the legislature that would offer high school graduates with a 3.5 grade point average free tuition in community colleges. This is not too different from what President Obama proposed. The idea was trashed by many because of the additional cost to the government. What do you think of the idea?"

Grade inflation will follow shortly... instead should be an independent assessment of the students readiness for college.

Wouldn't this be discrimination? I mean, isn't this rewarding those that had the privilege of being born into two-parent, middle-income, homes where education is considered important? Rewarding those who actually worked hard? Heaven forbid! Surely we'd have to come up with a way to "level the playing field" wouldn't we? Naw, this would never work in today's culture...
