After SPIN! - What caused a drop in student suspensions?

Published March 24, 2020

After SPIN! "Question to John Hood and Chris Fitzsimon – A recently released report indicates the number of acts of school crime and violence dropped for the 5th straight year. The report also shows that fewer students received short-term or long-term suspension than the prior year. It amounted to 203,000 instances. For the second year in a row the number of dropouts declined and fewer teachers left the profession in the 2018-2019 school year.  What caused this drop. Are students suddenly behaving better, has our enforcement relaxed or what?"
