After SPIN! Video - Question to Dan Blue: Senate Democrats have introduced a bill to expand Medicaid in our state, saying “Medicaid expansion is not just about providing health care to the over 500,000 uninsured North Carolinians that would benefit from this legislation, but it is about bringing jobs to the state, and giving both rural and urban hospitals the resources they need to be successful.” The Governor and the legislature have indicated they would not consider Medicaid expansion until after the Supreme Court rules on the Affordable Care Act this summer. What were these Democrats hoping to accomplish?
