After SPIN! "Question to John Hood and Chris Fitzsimon –North Carolina is the only state in the nation to automatically try 16 and 17 year olds as adults. Supreme Court Chief Justice Mark Martin is leading a charge to raise the age to 18 before teens can be tried as adults. This idea has been around for a long time but hasn’t passed our legislature. What is blocking our lawmakers from raising the age? Can Martin’s support help in getting it passed?"
