After SPIN! "Question to John Hood and Chris Fitzsimon – When Republicans took control of the General Assembly in 2011 they were critical of the pork barrel spending that was often hidden in the state budget. The Civitas Institute recently read all the fine print and determined there was somewhere between $30 million and possibly as much as $100 million in pork in the budget lawmakers recently passed. Civitas claims some of the funding was doled out to lawmakers who had competitive re-election campaigns this November. Comment on the pork barrel practice."
