"Question to Chris Fitzsimon and John Hood - After spirited a federal court verdict that North Carolina’s Congressional District needed redrawing it was decided there wasn’t enough time to do so before this November’s elections. But a three judge panel ordered our legislature to prepare their appeal to that verdict by October 1 to ensure the U.S. Supreme Court would hear the case in their new term. The court also said that if lawmakers don’t proceed with all speed the court might draw new districts. What do you think of this order?"
