After SPIN! Video: What’s your position on the Biotech Center?

After SPIN! "Question to Connie Wilson – The North Carolina Biotechnology Center was started in 1984 and provides loans to startup biotech companies and grants to universities doing biotech research. The legislature is proposing cutting out all funding for the center. Proponents of the center say this would be a big mistake because this center has helped us become a leading state in biotech. Many who want to cut the funding say it is another Democratic program like the Rural Center and isn’t needed.
