After SPIN! Video: What, if anything, can be done about new taxes?

After SPIN! "Question to Chris Fitzsimon – Recently Gene Nichol wrote an op ed piece in the News and Observer about what he called the villainy in the North Carolina tax reforms just passed. He said it was obvious that poor people don’t count. Whereas rich people can afford new cars with warranties poor people are stuck with older cars needing repairs…repairs that will now be taxed. But the new taxes are now the law. What, if anything can be done about it?"

Wow ! Now I'm really worried........ First time ever I agree with Chris Fitzsimon ! This is legislative idiocy that will cause direct harm to lower income citizens. It will certainly be remembered at the polls by me. Labor rates for repairs on autos, appliances or anything else are enormous already. Adding a sales tax to labor rates will definitely make many think twice about having repairs made. It would be nice if the north Carolina legislature could once and for all STOP acting like the new York legislature ! I find it extremely dis-heartening that a republican legislature did this. Excuse me, a "republicrat" legislature.
