Question to John and Chris – Should a state employee be able to use accrued sick leave to get paid after leaving a job? That’s been the subject of lots of buzz this past week. Mitch Gillespie, former legislator and former top aide to Speaker Moore, collected $70,000 over several months by using sick leave. This is a practice used in the private sector so should public employees also be able to do so?
