After SPIN! "Question to Connie and Dennis – In 2016 North Carolina residents and businesses claimed $245 million in renewable energy tax credits. The biggest users of these credits were insurance companies, energy providers and large corporations. The legislature allowed these credits to sunset and many believe this is just another subsidy to big business. But many believe we must reduce our dependence on fossil fuel energy sources. Should we continue these renewable energy tax credits? Why or why not?"

Drive a stake in the heart of these special interest tax credits. Keep lowering taxes rates broadly as the NCGA has been doing since 2010 so taxes are low for everybody.
