After SPIN! - "Question to Chris – The Governor’s proposal for a separate cabinet level agency for military affairs got rough treatment from the House. Gary Pendleton, a former General, said he didn’t think it would be as effective as a division within the administration with a direct line to the Governor. He said a new agency was essentially new bureaucracy. Does this indicate the suggestion is dead?"
