At the end of the process both Republicans and Democrats claimed victory by accusing the other side of misconduct. Democrats because they believe it showed a flawed process where Republican Senate leaders demonstrated a lack of concern the rights of women. Republicans are boasting of victory because they say Democrats acted badly and overplayed their hands in trying to defeat Kavanaugh. How did this play out in North Carolina?
