After SPIN! Video: How can we improve Left/Right relations in the Legislature?
Published September 15, 2016
After SPIN! "Question to Connie Wilson- You served in the Legislature for many years and have seen many changes in the process. One of the more disturbing changes is that the left and the right barely talk to one another, preventing the resolution of differences and compromise in legislation. In your opinion why has this occurred and what can we do to establish better communications, not only in the legislature but among citizens in general?"

Norm Kelly says:
Getting along can start when, and only when, libs redefine what compromise means. Currently, at every level of government, the definition of compromise means libs get everything they want, conservatives give up on some or all of our standards, and citizens are left out to fend for ourselves.
Compromise means everyone gives up a little of what they want in order to get something good. Today, even media allies of the demon party define compromise as libs getting everything and conservatives giving up everything. Even when it comes to gerrymandering the hubbub has reached a new level, the accusations have reached a new level, since libs were forced into the minority.
Next, we could start with a lot less lies. It seems to be in the nature of lib pols to lie. I know, too many pols from all parties fail at this at some point. But libs do it routinely. And media types are called their allies because they don't just NOT call it a lie, they amplify the lie, support the lie, or ignore the lie altogether and question the Republican candidate on the premise of the lie, which is a lie to start with so why is the Republican asked about it? The only explanation is that too many media types actually are allies of demons, and by passing the bogus question onto the Republican puts the pressure on them instead of the original liar. Which simply points out the alliance between libs & media.
How about demon pols are held to the same standard as Republican pols. Like Hildaliar ever being called on her constant, undending lies. She even lies about the lies she's already told.
One other form of lie is when demon pols were trying to force socialized medicine on an unsuspecting, ill-informed public, Republicans had a more market-driven alternative. Which lib/demon acknowledged Republican plans? None. Which demon ally in the media acknowledged Republican plans? None. Which lib/demon pol or media ally acknowledged that a plan even existed other than socialized medicine? None.
So, first lies. Second, bias. Third, understanding what compromise really is. Finally, stop telling lies, both media allies and demon pols. Oh, wait. Did I mention lies already. Perhaps that's because it's such a major problem for demon pols! It's time for media types to start doing their job and be less biased. When a demon pol lies, call them on it. Your work as a media type will skyrocket for a short time. Reason being so many demon pols lie so often, and have gotten away with it for so long, that you will be more busy than you've ever been trying to call all those demons on their lies. But eventually demon pols will catch on that you are finally doing your job, and their tendency to lie will diminish. Your work won't cuz they will fall back into their natural mode if you slack off on you watchfulness. So, start being attentive NOW. When socialism is fully implemented, not only do we loose our guns, we loose free speech, and the press looses it's independence. Not that they are independent now, but the future would mean FORCED allegiance to the ruling party. While media types still have freedom, start using it. Appropriately, and not so obviously biased. And don't take that as permission to simply be less obvious about your bias. It could start with the Noise & Disturber in Raleigh. They wouldn't know an honest story about a Republican if it was force fed to them! Why is it they don't have ANY conservatives on staff? And if they are on staff, why are they so silent?
