After SPIN! "Question to Rob Schofield and Anna Beavon Gravely – A new program, Teach NC is designed to attract teachers to our classrooms so as to fill a teacher shortage in our state. But there is some controversy about how serious a teacher shortage we have. Some contend we have a large number of teachers who have been in the classroom more than 25 years and will soon retire. Others say this is a normal process and there really is no serious shortage. What’s your position on how serious our shortage might be?"
