After SPIN! - Question to Rufus Edmisten: "Governor McCrory and Mayor Nancy McFarland announced a deal to sell the 300 acre Dix Property to the state. Some legislative leaders say they want to study it more but several mental health organizations, including NAMI, say they want to make sure that any money that the state receives goes toward Mental Health. NAMI also wants part of the property to contain an area dedicated to the mental health efforts that took place on the campus. What do you think of the deal? If the funds are to be applied toward mental health how could they best be used?"
