After SPIN! - Question to John Hood and Chris Fitzsimon – Part of the repeal to the discriminatory HB2 legislation was a law that prohibited local communities from passing their own nondiscrimination ordinances to protect LGBTQ residents. That law has now expired and advocates are urging local governments to pass anti-discrimination laws. What do you think of this? Should HB142 be reinstated? Do we need each community to pass anti-discrimination laws or should this be a state responsibility?
