After SPIN! Video - 10/5/14 - Question to Chris: "Duke Energy announced a $10 million fund to clean up waters in our state and surrounding states. The money is intended to improve water quality, enhance fish and wildlife habitats and expand public access. Environmentalists say it isn’t enough. What do you think of Duke’s initiative?"

Johnny Hiott says:
My biggest concern is that Duke power pay for whatever must be done and it absolutely NOT be allowed for them to force customers to pay for the cleanup. It is nothing less than a state sponsored monopoly to begin with which obviously owns governors. It seems since the state of north Carolina decided to charge taxes on electric bills it could care less how much peoples bills are. The higher the electric bill the more money the state steals through taxes.
